Getting sick of it! I'm lucky enough to have gone abroad this year and get some nice weather, but for some people who save up all there money to go to a caravan etc. have been stuck in side and that, i really feel feel for these people, no doubt after the schools go back it will be sunshine, /rant over

what are your thoughts?

I really wish I could get away to the sunshine, but the state the banks have left our economy in means that prospects of permanent employment are slight at the mo. Hopefully I'll scrape together a few beans to manage a week in October.

High rainfall = low value alkalinities in the rivers which is fine by me, as it means less time in the lab! :greengrin

The whole of the last month has been keech with a capital K, total mince.

Seems to be the way now that if we have a nice May & June, the rest of Summer is rotten.

Suppose it makes things interesting...

Beautiful day today. Must be at list 20+ and not a cloud in the sky. Was boiling when cutting the grass at 11 this morning. Finished off with a wee sunbathe while i got my breath back. :greengrin

It was a lovely today. When I got the new large screened television, I invested in a £400 swivel arm, a lot of cash for a stand, but it means I can turn the telly round and watch it from outside on the patio with speakers blasting the sound out. Had a few people round for some beer, barbecue and Hibs, a very enjoyable lunchtime.

On days like this, Edinburgh is unbeatable. Trouble is, we get about three a year.
