When you lay a bet you are essentially acting as the bookie e.g. Someone layed Hibs to win 3-0 at 679/1 and lost big as a result. The way I look at it is to reverse the odds and think of it as betting on something not happening, so that person bet approx. £3.5k on Hibs not winning 3-0 at 1/679.

Hopefully someone can verify that because the second bit is just how I work it out in my head, I've never specifically been told that's correct.

Well done to the betfair winner as well.

When you lay a bet you are essentially acting as the bookie e.g. Someone layed Hibs to win 3-0 at 679/1 and lost big as a result. The way I look at it is to reverse the odds and think of it as betting on something not happening, so that person bet approx. £3.5k on Hibs not winning 3-0 at 1/679.

Hopefully someone can verify that because the second bit is just how I work it out in my head, I've never specifically been told that's correct.

I'm not putting this on as I prefer value singles but I'd predict Everton to win. I'd also have Man Utd and Bolton although these are a bit dodgier. Killie look a decent bet to beat Aberdeen as well.

I'd predict Wolves v Sunderland to be a draw but it could go either way(like most draw predicitions). I also fancied Arsenal at 5/4 to beat Villa as Villa are a bit short with injuries. However I have a feeling they will be up for it, Arsenal have just had an away champions league game and Fabregas is out so there's a good chance it could be a draw.
