Celtic obviously want him out the door otherwise he wouldn't be going near Spartak. They know that they can't come out and say that because it will alienate all their plastic paddys, of which 'Aiden' is the king. They also need the big transfer fee from Moscos because him leaving will dent their shirt sales for a bit.

All the quotes from Lennon have made me cringe/laugh 'He's indicated he'd like to go over and take a look' etc. No he doesn't, he wants to stay in PP land or go to the premiership but no one in the premiership will take a chance on him at that level.

I could be wrong but I think the only decent game I ever seen him have in the CL was when they played Benfica at CP and perhaps one against Milan when he was young and had a lot of potential.
