Was anyone else at the Liquid Room last night?

It was a fantastic gig.

I only knew a couple of his songs before last night, but was persuaded to go by my mate. I'm really glad I did.

What a talented and intelligent performer Neil Hannon is.

His songs are clever, funny and moving. I enjoyed every one and "Mutual friend" blew me away. (Ooh err, missus.)

The interaction with the crowd really added to the evening.

5 stars.

He's playing in Oran Mor in Glasgow on 3 November. Recommended.

Wasn't there last night but saw him at the Assembly Rooms several years ago and he was very good then. Good to hear he's playing and has maybe even grown into a better performer.

Might make an effort for the Glasgow gig :agree:

Saw the Devine Comedy years back - they did some cracking songs - Something For The Weekend was different class.:agree:

Fantastic.

Not unlike the version I saw.
