Not worth betting on imo. Hearts seem pretty up and down at the moment; they got a good result against a half decent Millwall side.

I can see the Wolves game potentially being a stalemate.

A repeat of the glorious second leg of the Texaco Cup final of nineteen oatcake.

They had a crumbling, asbestos ridden stand back then at the old Tynecastle.

The bad old days, eh.

Wolves must be disappointed to be only two up by now. Surely McCarthy's jacket must be on a shaky -are we allowed to say it- peg?

How that idiot ever got a gig on the radio is beyond me. Detestable, smug, odious Hearts twat of the highest order. Don't think i've ever heard anything as unprofessional as him trying to present the breakfast show on real radio, which is an awful station as it is.

From the Wolves website -

4 mins: GOAL:Darren Barr brings down Doyle on the left hand side of Heart's area. Greg Halford takes and fires the ball over the wall and into the left hand corner of Marian Kello's goal.

Fletch not in the squad for this one. Berra on the bench.

you would think being pre-season that they would be delighted and honoured to be parading their new strips to the 400,000 salvating fans ? surely? :greengrin

Sickbag is giving out the usual excuses(players missing etc) but wolves hardly had their first team on show if berra was on the bench and fletch not even listed. It seems that when wolves could be bothered they ripped hertz apart and could easily have won by 4 or 5.Their defence looked even shakier than ours apparently especially barr(haha)so i can see them drawing at best against the saintees in the first game. The commentators generally thought hertz were miles behind the pace of the game(sound familiar as thats whats been happening to us)and with only one more friendly they arent in great shape it would seem for a week on saturday.
Maybe puts things in perspective for us and while maribor had 4 competetive game before we played them wolves had not although the english premier starts the same day as ours which it didnt use to hence the reason hertz were so easily gubbedApart from them being mince before you say it). With the dons drawing with the mighty brechin and the saintees easily beaten by bolton and manu reserves are we stll predicting doom and gloom for our season.yes we rely on magic from deeks and stokes but we are a better team than all bar the arabs and its up to yogi to show that on the pitch. Results dictate a taems and managers season so let the real action begin.( i always thought we would struggle against maribor with them having played 4 games, just wish we had got wells draw).

H***** were really pish poor, the Wolves were all over them and could easily have won by three or four more.

Not many of that team will line up against Stoke first game.Halford played really well and he is a player not rated at the Molinuex(bit like Rankin, but with skill!)

Fletch wasnt on team sheet but still managed to warm up giving the ****bos in the lower old stand a smile :bye:

Im delighted they are falling for his spin as they have no midfield and of course no strikers.I reckon they will miss stewart big time as the season goes on and the friendly results show they are missing congalves as they are losing a lot of goals.Only palawhatsiname and johnsson were missing along with kyle and driver who could be weeks away from being ready to play never mind being ready for the first team as they have missed pre season. At least hibs fans can see our deficiencies whereas they finished 6th last year because of shabby.
They are nothing if not consistent with their delusions speaking of which i see the crowd was 5,000.Big team my derriere.:greengrin

Maybe not all are deluded as a lot of them realise they dont have a centre midfield and are now lamenting the loss of stewart and the fact he hasnt been replaced.Fjk looks like he has loads of issues to deal with and already looks down in the mouth even by his standards.Roll on the new season and the deafening silence from the pbs.
