I for one will always hold Konte in the highest regard, THAT goal he scored that got is into Europe at Motherwell was so very very crucial.

I had a few too many sherberts at that game and left the stadium thinking we had won 2-1. Must have missed one of the Motherwell goals when I nipped off for a leak. After the game I even told a guy in Scotmid that we had pumped his "Well 2-1. :doh:

IIRC GOC actually missed a penalty at 2-0, :agree:..Then 2 late goals form Caldwell and your man Konte eventually secured that elusive point that would see Hibernian reign in Europe once again :cool2:

I will always remember he gave me a sore head, litterly, my mate dave, whilst playing hertz at e.r, he bet that if the monster scored we headbutt each other (dont ask) well, a cross came in, he scored a peach of a header, we looked at each other and nutted each other so hard I was semi knocked out! . , . . . . The goal was chopped off for offside, and it effing wasnt!!! Damn linesmen

Yup! I remember big Marshall saving with his shin from the PK. However, Caldwell's free kick was a peach! Then Konte blessed us with his class.
