Let's see if they've got the team-sheet right....

Hibernian: Mark Brown; Michael Hart, David Stephens, Paul Hanlon, Lewis Stevenson; Danny Galbraith, Kevin McBride, Steven Thicot, Lee Currie, Derek Riordan; Anthony Stokes.

Subs: Graeme Smith, Colin Nish, Ian Murray, Liam Miller, David Wotherspoon, John Rankin, Chris Hogg,

Interesting line-up..... :cool2:

Nope, must be some sort of mistake there..

Why on earth have we only got one of the Rankins on the bench?:grr:

In all seriousness though, i'm glad we've switched to a 4-4-2 and if Galbraith is playing which i'm very pleased about, surely means that Riordan is upfront.

And another thing, is Thicot playing CM?

No De Graff!!

Right enough, does anyone know if he picked up a knock or anything on Monday?

I presume the formation will be along the lines of:

Brown

Hart Stephens Hanlon Stevenson

Stokes McBride Thicot Currie Galbraith

Riordan

Unusual to have three DMs playing at once - McBride, Thicot and Currie.

Not sure about Stokes, what i was thinking is maybe we will have Stokes upfront and Riordan sitting just in behind him. My first thought was it is a 4-4-2 but it must not be if Currie can't play RM.

I would imagine so - provided, of course, that the official website has the right team and haven't just made it up as they go along.

Looks as if ADO have stipulated 7 subs - maybe Yogi wants to rest De Graaf and give Thicot and Currie a run out. Surely all 7 subs will play at some point - interesting to see what the team looks like at the end of the game.

This seems to me to be a typical team for the away leg of a European tie - 5 in the midfield with the emphasis on defence. Hope it works...

Edit: Stephens and Thicot as the centre-backs, Paul Hanlon at left-back and Lewis in the midfield?

I might give it a go - I think 6 pounds is OK actually - it is a broadcast from Holland after all.

This is a link to the stadium I think we're playing in this evening (looks like they've just built a new stadium in the past few years - one or two interesting photos of the stadium from finish to start - looks quite allright actually):

Think that would only apply if it were an official match that was being played in Scotland ie Prem League, Cup

As it's a friendly in Holland there should be no restrictions (apart from the fee!) from watching the match anywhere in the world.

Wow you paid £250 - you were ripped my man :greengrin

It's only £6 and it was never advertised as part of the Hibs TV package that we would get live games.

In fairness though it says you can watch the game Live via HibernianTV, which in reality would imply that if your already a member with HTV you'd be able to watch it. Not sign up again for an extra £6.

Or if not then the fact that you can't use the same username (in my case) as it's already in use would lead you to believe that your account should work as it is Linked with the normal HTV service.

How the hells the average supporter supposed to know there's 2 different portals to HibernianTV? That's 2 services with the same name, same logo, and all linked to from the same site. ****ing Joke. :agree:

degraff, spoony and miller all on, Hart, galbraith and currie all off

... the new hibstv commentator is a bit colin nish.

I think he's the club's new PR bloke who took over the Hibs TV player interviews and keeps talking about "High" bernian. Well meaning I'm sure but Colin Nish would be much better.

Jeeezzzz, the two of them were droning on about something, I'd almost dozed off listening, and then suddenly there was a great cheer out of nowhere. Hibs 2 - 1 down. Commentary? Ridiculous.

stacks good to listen to comes across quite well really

"Commentator": "He certainly enjoys shooting though doesn't he Anthony Stokes?"

Stacks: "I think all centre forwards do though to be fair."

Aaaaaargh! :grr:

It looks like the midfield has been told to lie very deep when we don't have the ball. Fleck me, It's like 9 across the box at times with no-one coming out to close the ball. Nuts. :bitchy:

I'm actually not to bothered. It's a pre-season game. It's all about getting the tactics and the line up right for the start of the season. Also a good chance to give people that don't usually get games a chance :agree:

It's good for those things. It's pretty pish if you're looking to get the shape right and decent performance levels given the first game of the season is in a week's time.

Particularly now that there aren't reserve teams. If those fringe players don't play now they won't play at all.
