I thought it had already been announced that it was going to be the 2nd.
.
IMO we will never see a New Year derby again, at least as long as Edinburgh has the Street Party. Too many police required for both events and us football fans dont even come close in such a decision. I also think that things like lack of public transport on the first will mean its unlikely to happen.

Very true. Part of the laugh used to be walking millions of miles with your mates and a carry out to ER, in my case it was a walk from Barnton or Blackhall...now that is a trek and half - I miss those days :greengrin

Would be very surprised if it goes ahead on jan 1st tv companies control it nowadays sky and espn gtf :grr:
