I like the Metro. Decent amount of transfers to keep you interested, cup game is good too and scoring easy to follow (so many newspapers have it down to their player ratings, etc, which force you to buy it if you want to keep track). Will be interesting to see if they use the new statistical scoring system from the WC.

Yep, this is a great site to start with. I have been playing the 'Original Fantasy League' in some guise or another since 1994. Started off with a league at work where you had a bidding evening trying to build up a squad to the current 'Classic' game where you can choose who you want within your budget. Costs a bit more than the others to enter but allows for a lot more management of your team as it is squad based you're not restricted to certain transfer windows that a lot of the paper-based competitions have.

Mind you I also do the Sun Dream Team which is OK although with points being allocated to players depending on someone's opinion of how they played it is a lot more subjective.

Daily Telegraph one is very good - at times last season it threatened to be more exciting than the real thing!

Incidently The Sun Dream Team are dropping their SPL game, and the top prize for the EPL game is up to £500,000.

The EPL game will also be introducing (actually merging the old £1 to play Weekend Dream Team game within the main game) a free to play weekend game which could net you £1,000 each week.

The Original Fantasy League game is the best!
