Baked Bean Rounders/Beanies

Anybody ever heard of these, Scotch eggs with beans instead of egg? Discussed on another forum I post on and wondered if they made it to Scotland back in the 80's/90's?

yeah you used to get them in the bakers for lunch, not Greggs but one that went bust years ago, someone will jog my memory. Mc something maybe? There was one at Stenhouse cross.
