dont have an exact date so dont know! :boo hoo:

my 1st game was the scottish cup 3rd round game in the 93/94 season.

we beat clyde 2-1, kevin mcallister scored, think it was either brian hamilton of billy findlay who got the other.

Number 1 at that time was

They didn't as we got knocked out by the Yams in the next round.

I'm not 100% sure but I think my first game at ER must have been around the start of the 94/95 season, so it must have been something like "Love is all around" by Wet Wet Wet.

Annoyingly I can't remember the date, but it would have been in the late 70's (I think) and we hammered Celtic at ER, I thought either 4 or 5-1, nasty challenge on the Celtic keeper sparked a riot in the old main stand, really p1ss3d off that I can't even find the date via the web :boo hoo:

First Match - 19 September 1970, Hibs 2 Celtic 0

No.1 Record - Band Of Gold by Freda Payne

I remember that game not only for the result against a team which included Jimmy Johnstone and Bobby Lennox and most of the Lisbon Lions but also for the music that was in the charts at the time.
If I recall correctly it was 0-0 at HT and we were playing down the slope in the 2nd half.

Thought that was the game when Glass scored a free-kick, the Pars equalised then Riordan scored last minute?

According to the Hibs site we drew 1-1 away from home to Dunfermline on that date. The game your thinking of was played on 18th December 2004.:agree:
