Hope this is OK, but I thought I'd start the thread off today.

I look forward to yet another rancour free, unbiased commentary today.

:grr: If Germany win the tournament, won't that just prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Engerlund are the second best team in the world? :dunno:

Lawrenson commentating at his very best again. :bitchy: Why do the BBC employ this prick?

I've been going nuts about him, why does he keep trying to shoehorn in ***** jokes

If we wanted a comedian i'm sure BBC would have employed one

5 live commentary is OK, with Chris Waddle cancelling out both Alan Green and Mike Ingham

Swinesteiger and Lahm. We should go for them. That would sort out the RB & CM positions. Absolutely brilliant today.
Oh, and throw in Klose as cover for Nish (assuming Stokes is away to Celtc.)

Germany were simply tremendous in that game. I fancy them to beat Spain and win it now :agree:

Supremely pissed off with the Uruguay - Ghana episode now though...I put on a bet that was almost the opposite of who I thought would win...Netherlands/Ghana/Germany/Spain...would have won $150 from a $5 punt if that penalty had gone in! :grr:

You cannot fail to be impressed by the Germans. They have a winning mentality in everything they do, they're like robots.

Whilst I do have both Uruguay and Spain in my works sweepstake, I'd fully expect the German's to win the World Cup and to be fair, on the basis so far they would deserve it.

After watching the way the clinically beat Argentina, I'd be surprised if they are not the World Champions next weekend.

Bundesliga have used 'that' ball for past season. All German players are from Bundesliga. Practice makes perfect....and world champs.
