Camping spots

Anyone know any good, quiet camping spots in our around Edinburgh? Not a camping site more just a wee place to set up. Prefer it if surrounded by hills and the like.

Pretty random question but if anyone knows anywhere then give me a shout please.

There are loads of places in the Pentlands within a short walking distance from the nearest road. Best place is probably up beside either Bonaly or Clubbiedean reservoirs.

How about Sighthill Park?

Bit of late night football at the Pitz...

For scenary there is the nice wooded area by Macro..... (used to be porn mags down there when I was a bairn)

Pentland hills :agree: Flotterstone also..Infact Flotterstone would be the best bet mate, Plenty space for camping and sorrounded by scenery.
