Up for auction are the boots that Colin Nish wore to fire Hibs into Europe, scoring an incredible 5 goals in the last 2 games. Both boots are signed by Colin - photos can be seen below. All proceeds are in aid of East Lothian Hibs Supporters Club. The auction will finish at 10pm on 30th June. The winner can negotiate delivery with me after the auction. It’s an open auction so feel free to bid on this thread, if you would rather keep your name etc private then send me a PM. Who will start the bidding at £20?

Sold for £90 to a private bidder who wishes to remain private. We had a bid of £100 but it was after the 10pm deadline but rules are rules and to be fair to the highest bidder we are selling for £90 - well done. Thanks to all who bid.

It is a mark of the man, to hand over signed boots for a worthwhile cause......

The stick he has been given on this board is ridiculous, and he does not deserve it at all, he gives 100% effort every game.

Well done Colin.....

Funny, as I had a pair from Mixu in a nice glass presentation ( well plastic-ish :greengrin) box, and managed to get £100.00 for Marie Curie in Edinburgh.

So it looks like the going price for a pair of footie boots from a CF who plays/played for Hibernian Football Club is £100 or there abouts...Worth more :cool2: Me thinks..

A far inferior charity than 'east lothian Hibs supporters club', whatever can you have been thinking:grr:

I know what your saying, but I was thinking more along the lines of the fact that a pair of footie boots from a HFC CF go for around £100 (event / charity aside...) It's all down to the audience that will determine the price..... :cool2:
