Interest from us for Yannick Bolaise and an old story that we were after Bradley Wright Phillips!! They had a bit of a cheek to say that we had no money!!!

One of them reckons we didn't sign Gow as we couldn't afford his wages (ergo, we won't be signing BWP as he is on more).......

I thought we didn't sign Gow cos he was gash?

To be fair the OP on the plymouth site says that we are going to pay £750k fo BWP - and the other boy says, that we couldn't pay for Stack or Gow so therefore we surely couldn't pay that for bwp - and I'd agree.

In fact even, if we could, I'd be pretty astonished that any player from the English leagues would be good value at £750k, as their wages are so inflated compared to mainland Europe.

There - fixed that for the Argyle poster -there's a big difference between not being able to fork out money and not wanting to because there might be better value on offer elsewhere.

As for Hibs forking out 3/4 of a mill on BWP - we did it once before for Ulises DLC and doubled our money - could be that Hughes & Petrie have that sort of arrangement in mind - SPL players WILL generally fetch significantly more than League 1 players afterall :dunno:

There's a couple of interesting ones on the Charlton thread that I hadn't seen us linked with before, notably the lad from Crusaders & Tuffey, the Partick keeper.

Saw that too lol, fair play to them if they think Gow is a player, he was awful for hibs when he did play. I dont think anyone was sad to see the back of him.

I don't know what that Plymouth fan is talking about "Hibs don't have any money". I think it is the other way around. And also they can keep Gow. He was absoulately mince during his time up here. The only time he looked good was against a team that finished bottom of the third division.

If I remeber right when they played Hearts a while back one of their fans said the fixture was disappointing as the only player he'd even heard of was Derek Riordan. I also remember a lot of rubbish being spouted about Scottish football when they stole (haha) Williamson from us. They know hee haw about Scottish football.
