Maybe I'm being stupid but can't seem to find this channel on Sky. Does anyone know what number it is?

stv hd should officially launch on sky in the next week, virgin have it already

Try this, it has been posted on a digital TV forum this morning:-

Turn your SKY+HD box off using the hand set and switch it off at the mains, remove the viewing card and switch the box back on and when it's up and running you'll have ITV1 HD (scottish viewers only), Channel 178.

Is your phone line connected? If it doesn't work you can still watch the game in HD by adding STV HD as a custom channel (10.935GHz V SR:22000 FEC:5/6)

... the only real difference having it in the official EPG makes is the ability to pause/record etc.

Done that and found the channel and stored it but still can't seem to find the actual channel.

I didn't find it either, assumed it was the phone line but couldn't be bothered putting it in. The custom channel is fine for me til they sort the EPG :agree:

Got it on freesat, ITV1 London then press the red button.

You dont need the phone line connected lads, Once you have added the channel it will be a number when you go to other channels on your sky remote it wont say stvhd im sure it starts with a 3 hope this helps

Haven't seen confirmation that STV has been made available on sky, but if you're after ITV HD you've been able to add it in as another channel for some time and it's gone live on Sky in England and Wales (EPG 178)

To add ITV HD, go to the TV Guide, find Options in the top menu, then drop down and scroll along to Add Channels.
Change the Frequency details to 11.427 and press Select. (Nothing happens.) Then change Polarisation to H. Leave the Symbol Rate as 27.5 and FEC as 2/3. Then press the yellow button for Find Channels.
On the next page, there should be several services listed. Scroll down to Channel 10510 and press Store Channel. A tick will appear next to Channel 10510. This is the channel name for ITV HD, and it’s now stored in the box.
To view the channel, go to the TV Guide, find Options in the top menu, then drop down and scroll along to Other Channels. Drop the cursor into the apparently empty listing box — and Channel 10510 will then appear. Select the channel.

You go back into services and it's in other channels. It dosn't come up in the t.v guide.

worked for me, cheers.

pity about the live pause feature not working, but would rather watch in hd and just take the replays as they brodcast them. :thumbsup:
