"The 24-year-old, who was released along with the rest of the Diamonds squad at the end of last season, has agreed a one-year deal with the Steelmen.

He will become manager Craig Brown's first capture of the summer when the transfer window opens on Thursday."

Surely it's irrelevant when the transfer window opens now considering there isn't any games until the transfer window opens.
