I think he can, he has proved he can manage us well enough, be interesting to see him in action if he was at a club that had a lot of money to see he much he could get for players, though I can imagine his face when the manager wants £20m to sign a player.

As much as I think Petrie has done a great job at Hibs he's far too slightly built to prevent some of the big, bloated English chairmen and directors getting to the buffet table in the hospitality suite for second and third helpings.

Rod Petrie could run the country, without a cabinet.

In Rod we trust.

good, stops the wife spending it all !!

A man says to his wife , "What would you say if I told you I'd won the lottery?"

She says, "I'd take half and then leave you."

"Excellent," the guy says. "I had three numbers come up and won a tenner. Here's a fiver... now :bye:!"

Judging by the financial state of even some of the EPL clubs who get money every year thrown at them, he could do it this way

:bitchy: think he'd struggle with the foreign accents and the concept of regularly spending far more money than you earn on over rated players who think they can tell you what to do. I think his skills in the English market would be massively restricted as most English clubs don't have and ER fishman.........and theres only so many of them need stands built.

Well the bloke who was running Aberdeen was poached by everton (wyness?), and for the last 15 years they've been skint, so getting Rod to an EPL club would be like them getting Fergie as DOF, Mourinho as first team coach, and ressurecting Shankley as pyschological motivator :greengrin
