From football rumours:

"A bit of a shock heard from a source at Easter road that former Hearts player Christian Nade has been there for talks with Yogi Hughes as Hughes thinks that the hibs side lack a large presence up front and that Nade may fit the bill .Hughes also looking at released form Dundee player Maruis Klimpel"

Nice one. :faf:

They would have to build a Greggs at East Mains before he'd come, imagine how many steak bakes he could go through in 3 months, :greengrin

and wasn't lazy, and didn't go about flooring team mates, and wasn't hysterically overweight, and wouldn't demand upwards of £7-8K, and wasn't a Yam ******** etc etc

That's the daddy of all Football Rumours "exclusives" though!!

How great would this be if we did sign him, and he stated to score goals regularly? Maybe with Hartley pulling the strings, this would happen?

We might be able to pay his wages but could we afford to feed him:greengrin:wink:

The only contract he will be seeing is his Vodafone renewal one. Mind you his fingers are as thick as my legs so I would be surprised if he would be able to use it for calls or texts. Maybe just eat it.

He better not be signing for us. :grr:

Hearts will miss Nade that's for sure and signing Kyle was a bad move on their part. They were rumoured to be after Adebayo Akinfenwah who would surely have fitted Nade's jersey better :greengrin

Would be great if he did and went on to score more than 20 goals for us a season...
not sure I see either of them happening tho...

Mind you, I'm sure I've heard someone say he once score a blinder against Arsenal...:blah::blah::blah:

Joking apart, there may well be a half decent centre-half tucked up that XXXL tracksuit.

I think we should sign him, just for a laugh.

You never know one of his two goals a season could come against the Yams.:greengrin

He could go on a "play as you eat" contract - or Grggs could sponsor him - a steak bake for every goal scored!!

Thing is Nade would score for Hibs as most of the Hibs team normally cross the halfway line and create chances and just dont punt the ball up the park hoping for Mikey Stewart to fall oan his er5e and get them a penalty.
