I was done at the ticket office on Friday and specifically asked if they were open on Monday.

9am opening to allow those who wish to swap seats.

Not usually, no, although there are exceptions for Sunday fixtures and particular dates/deadlines set aside for season ticket sales.

As far as I know it will be closed this Sunday.

Ticket Office Opening Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Wednesday 10.00am - 5.00pm (late opening for staff training)
Saturday (non match day) 9.00am - 3.00pm
Saturday (match day) 9.00am - Kick Off and again after the match
Sunday Closed (unless otherwise stated)
