They've moved it so that it's more accessible to viewers and kids, apparently. If I was a cynic, I'd therefore suggest that it's more accessible to advertising companies as a result...

The UEFA guy said they moved to a saturday so they can have a full weeks build up instead of a couple of days.

It's brilliant it's going to be changed to a saturday night!

The whole world is watching and it's now a blockbuster event that is timed perfectly for the british! We're in the pub and we want something juicy to watch!

What's the problem?:greengrin

Looking forward to this one:agree:. I think inter will just edge it maybe 1-1 before winning on pens.

Anyone got any tips on what the best pub to watch the game would be in Edinburgh? Some of ma pals want to go to Sportsters with others thinking about going to the Three Sisters

Cheers:hnet:

They had to pull out tonight cause their whole squad are getting ready for the WC with their countries.

CL final night for me has always been sit in the house wi a chippy, excessively loud volume on the TV and chill out. No women allowed to interrupt, girlfriend, mums etc all ignored!

It's going to be weird watching it in the pub tonight. Normally when watching football in the pub I don't really get into it unless it's a Scotland game.

Should be interesting.

Anyone know any outdoor places that will be showing it?

Three Sisters will have it on the big screen I think. Also in 3D according to their Facebook.

Nice one, I was thinking of there but it will probably be 10 thick at the bar.

I believe they wanted to give a smaller, less fortunate team than themselves a chance to win it this year.

They're just 100% all-round good guys.

10/10 for some of the theatrical performances from tackles so far, some of the stuff wouldn't look out of place in the west end.

Great performance by Milito and fantastic from Mourinho once again.

Well Done Inter:thumbsup:

I can't think of a better manager really than Mourinho at the moment. First Porto, who were virtually no-hopers as far as the CL was concerned, and now Inter, a big club who haven't done anything in Europe for years, beating Chelski and Barcelona on the way. The ultimate professional.

I think if we have any aspirations in Europe we will need to get a few players in with the ability to dive like those on show tonight, absolutely awesome.

It was hardly a classic but it was typical Mourinho. Very effective football and the second goal was well taken by Milito.

He'll hopefully be the next Manchester Utd manager once Fergie decides to call it a day.

I wonder how he'd get on as an international manager. Don't suppose we'll find out for about ten years or more!

He will be without a doubt.

Inter did pretty much nowt during the game, Bayern had nearly 70% of the ball! However when it came down to it, Milito had one decent chance (and mugged off the defender) and the second was top quality movement but he did what he is paid large amounts of money to do and happens to be very good at - hitting the net. Bayern had no clear cut chances as far as i remember because Inter displayed a brilliant team performance in soaking up the pressure, Bayern wouldnt commit too many players forward yet Inter would hold 9 (outfield) players behind the ball and cover every angle when they didnt have the ball... Bayern tired and tried again to just give the ball to Robben... an obvious outlet and easy to cover

Great game overall, a masterclass in tactical football.
