It's a sad day when we're outbid by Huddersfield Town. :grr:

I read on kickback that hearts were signing him. Obviously a lack of ambition on arfields part as opposed to the jamtards being skint then

Can't say I am bothered as I have never rated him. I just don't see what the fuss is about with Arfield.

Decent bit of business for Falkirk. Told Hibs to bolt with their £300,000 last year and ended up getting up to £600,000 without selling to an SPL team.

Not bothered in the slightest. Highly average player who was probably the pick of a bad bunch in that Falkirk team.:bye:

Why are you surprised that a Div 1 English team are able to outbid every team in Scotland bar Celtic.

If Hibs had spent £600k on a transfer fee for him I'd be :grr:

we should go for ryan flynn from falkirk and Lukas Jutkiewicz (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CBsQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FLukas_J utkiewicz&rct=j&q=lukas+jutkiewicz&ei=oH32S8L7K4Hw0gSxmoTqBw&usg=AFQjCNH8ArvbuNLYYVMvLXPHUmARZIOvcg)

A decent player, no more than that. Played for a team relegated team from a poor SPL without in any way standing out.

It was one of the papers last Sunday that we haven't been back in for him, so Yogi must have other targets in mind.

Good Player would have liked him at Easter road but not for 600k. Don't think we should be paying out fee's for any Player. All available money should be for players wages in order to attract the best talent. Selling to other clubs for a fee is the way forward.

Didn't know much about him, seemed an ok player but I would not want Hibs spending £600,000 to get him. Yogi will hopefully have other targets in mind that we can pursue.

We dont need him to be honest, and we already have better in wotherspoon. He will be more of a talent. Would much rather have had D.Barr over wee arfy any day.

Suppose you could say he is showing a bit ambition by going down south instead of staying up here.

If he has a good season or two at Hudders, then I'm sure that one or other of the mid to lower table EPL clubs would be sniffing around. He's a very good player but one good player doesn't make a team good - and I for one think he looked a far better player under Hughes, and FWIW, he spoke very highly of Hughes as both a manager and a person.

He's only on loan from Everton and would like to remain at Motherwell for another year.
