I was speaking to his old man on Saturday and just in passing I mentioned Danny for Hibs (the family are all mad Hibbies, as everyone knows) and while it wasn't ruled out the insinuation was that DS' next port of call will be down south.

But it won't be Hearts in a million years.

p.s. Danny's bird is not bad but would benefit from about a tenth of the make-up she had on and just the one colour of hair.

I have been on his facebook and he is a Hibee I think.

There is a comment after one of his photos with the Scottish cup - saying the closest a Hibee has come to it from one of his friends.

I am one off Danny's friends on said Facebook and can confirm that this is the real deal. After Danny scored his peach at Easter Road, that night all his pals were congratualting him on the goal. The Jambo posted that to Danny and I can assure you his reply to him was 100% genuine.

By all accounts, he finally started to show Posh fans what I'd been talking about by the end of last season, then promptly got injured again. He certainly had a decent game at Wembley in the JPT! Would be a good signing for Hibs if he can stay clear of injury.

I think we was on our radar as he played for Hutchie and Leith Athletic, but not on Hibs books I don't think…went to Berwick Rangers for first pro contract.

He was with us at youth level I believe. He was told he was too small and he has a hole in his heart which the club thought would affect him.

Never with hibs as a youth therefore not chucked out because of size. Played boys club under 18/19 then went to Berwick. Total myth he was at hibs. I played football with him since primary 3 right through to 19
