I'm thinking of booking a holiday in Marrakech at the end of August, has anybody been and got any tips or anything good/bad to say about the place?

i think they are all in marrakech you will not go wrong, but maybe to prices i dont know budget

I went to Agadir last year. We took a day trip into marrakech. It was brilliant. Morocco is a great country. Obviously staying in Agadir would be a bit different, they weren't fussed about what girls wear, and all the resteraunts sold alcohol etc. Going on the trip they never said it was really any different there, so don't believe all the stereotyped stories about it cause it's a muslim country, they're very relaxed.

Only tip I would give is be as cheap as possible they'll try get as much out you as the can but they will accept about 10% of that, like we got taxi's for about 50p. Also get into a market and get haggling, you'll think you've won when you get it for 20% of starting price but in reality its still worth much less, but it's just so much fun.
