This article on BBC Sport made me laugh:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8683260.stm

particularly:

"As well as a nomadic managerial career, including spells in Iceland and Serbia, as well as with Karpaty L'viv in Ukraine, Golac also had a spell as manager of a chocolate factory in Belgrade."

and

Meanwhile, former Celtic star John Hartson has told the Celtic board that he believes former team-mate and current interim boss Neil Lennon is the man for the job.

"They should give it to Neil. I've told chief executive Peter Lawwell that," said the former striker.

"He asked me what my view was and I said I'd give Neil a crack at it.

"Why let someone else make a hash of it, if anybody's going to do that why not Neil." :greengrin

Lennon is probably my favourite ever Leicester player but I can't see him making a success at management. He's Indecisive, prone to depression and a bit too keen on the sauce.

Making himmanager would be a disaster(which I guess you guys would quite enjoy).

i agree with you.i think he could make a good manager but starting at celtic is not a good idea.he needs to start at a lower level and work up. if he fails at celtic it will knacker him for a long time

I really hope Golac gets it - anyone who valued Jerren Nixon (remember him??) at £10 milllion would be my first pick at the lesser greens...:faf:
