Just noticed Ross County are 6/1 to win with Ladbrokes - might be worth a cheeky wee fiver?!

just watching SSN and they were talking bout upsets,i like the sound of Portsmouth to win on pens or in extra time?
20/1 and 30/1?

Chelski have struggled against some lower teams haven't they? a team that wins league and loses what is it 6 or 7 times, are there for the beating?

Cant see UTD losing this, if they play to full strength they should win comfortably, i think the only way county will win is if UTD have a pretty horrific off day.

I don't know why people want county to win, that would have us starting our season in mid-july pretty much after the world cup is finished having to play through 2 qualifying rounds and then the play-off round, 3 rounds before we get anywhere near the money making games. Utd to win for me.

They'd better freakin not - we don't want to be starting our season off at the beginning of July.

Arabs better win this and win it well.

I know it would be bad for us in European terms.

But I still think it would be amazing to see a non SPL club lift the trophy.

I'd rather see an SPL club from Edinburgh with a nice mint green top win it instead.

I didn't say I wanted them to win, just that 6/1 seems too good a price to ignore! :dunno:
For the record, I hope united win for the obvious reasons!

I want County to win as I have family on my wifes side from Dingwall and know what it would mean to that town and surrounding area to win the cup. If Hibs have to start two weeks earlier then so be it at least we are in Europe unlike some so called bigger teams in the Spl. :greengrin

Ladbrokes have:

Ross County 6/1

Portsmouth 12/1

That's a 91/1 double (according to betcalc.com)

Well worth at least a pound on two games of football :agree:

I'm going for the double, not far off 100/1, probably won't happen but worth a couple of quid

Might also put a £5 on united chelsea to win the £2 back in case

That's definitely worth a go as well! It's over normal time isn't it, so if either go to extra time the bet is lost?

If you are gonna bet on two complete outsiders to win the cup, then you are better taking the to win the cup odds as opposed to the to win the game within the 90 minutes odds.

Anything can happen, but both within 90 minutes..........

Game on

I see, that does change it a lot!
Ladbrokes online, Portsmouth go down to 11/2 if you have them as cup winner, but it doesn't give that option for County, going by Portsmouth I'd imagine they'd come down to 5/2?

If Utd dont win then Hibs will have to win two rounds in Europe before I will even have a hope of getting time off work to travel to a European tie.

So for that reason and that reason only it has to be United.

Sorry Staggies.

the Monday after the semi I put a quid on the double Ross County and Pompey to win any time

Ross County @ 7/2
Portsmouth @ 9/2

which is something like 24/1

Bet of the day

Chelsea to win 1/5
Paco Boy 3:05 Newbury 10/11

Double pays just over 5/4 with Hills, nearest thing to a certainty.
