Moving on from HIBernian :greengrin

How do you pronounce the singular for a HIBernian supporter?

Surely options 2 and 3 are phonetically identical.

Surely this should be multiple choice as I tend to use more than one - Highbee or Hibby usually, depending on context.

Never heard of Hibbae though - is that the Scandinavian branch

Most likely the old Latin plural. Singular: Hibbam (colloquially, bammyhibby)

I've always said Hibby's when refering to the fans and Hibees when it's the team

It always makes me cringe when i'm described by somebody as a Hibee.

I voted 'Hibby'. You need a proper Leith accent to say 'Hibbae' :greengrin

I say Hibby singular, Hibees plural
