Could do a job.
Plenty of dig.
Gets through lots of unseen work. Very much like Brian Kerr in that respect.

He always was a player. I didn't think we should have let him go in the first place.

I'll always remember his equaliser agains the huns at Hampden.

Even though it was just 20 minutes, I think that performance tells us that he can aim higher and we would be very hard pushed to get him. Maybe a return to the Huns on the cards?

I'd definitely take him.

Worst hibs mistake in my lifetime was letting him leave!!

Should have tried to get him back when he was at QOS!

Would score a barrell load in the SPL!

steady. when he came back from the summer break after his first season he was at least 2 stone over weight i wouldnt blame any manager for releasing him after that.

anyone whos played amateur footie and walked on to a park looking to the opposite team and seen a player that encouraged them because of their ungamely size squeezed into a strip, it was that bad. most of us i assume.

he may have sorted his problems and made a good career since but we all would have released him at that time. except blackpoolhibs if i remember correctly.:agree:

:agree:

Problem with Dobbie was always his liking for the wrong types of food and too much of it and his unwillingness to train as hard as he could to be able to deliver the undoubted talent that he always had! :cool2:

Looks like he has sorted these two "issues" out now and he could well be playing in the EPL next season if they get through the next "hurdle" next week!

I have seen Dobbie a few times recently, and he has lost a bit of weight. He also played far better last night, than any time i have seen him since he signed on loan for Blackpool.

He normally gets 20 minutes at the end, he's not a starter, and yes fitter, but not any better than we have, or any better as a player imho.
