Queens Park Rangers, according to the Sunday Mail are set to make a £750,000 swoop for Hibs Derek Riordan.

QPR say they will test Hibs' resolve with a fresh bid in the summer. :grr:

One of many bids we should expect IMHO.

Sadly, I see Hibs accepting one or more also.

Depending on the in's and out's, it could be right for both players and club. At least, this time, he wouldn't leave with a bitter taste in the mouths of the fans.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hibs accepted that sort of offer only for Deek himself to knock it back.

I think they have a fair bit of dosh behind them, but not sure.Derek has more than 80% of the Hibs fans hoping that he stays,of that I'm sure and let's not start a poll on rhis one.he's got a good bit left on his contract and worth more than as mentioned. hope he stays .

Wooooooooooooooosh :faf: . I really pray we give Deeks an improved contract and get him signed up on a career finishing deal, it's what the lad wants and the vast majority of fans.

The Tykes have already signed Jim O'Brien from the Mothers and he plays wide left so if they want Deek they'll hqave to play him as a striker :greengrin

Jeez, Deeks' value went down £350,000 already!! Just standing by for breaking news from Scunny that they want him to team up with Rob & are preparing a bid of £100,000!!
It's the silly season guys, keep the faith.

If the manager thinks he can replace him with better, then why not? Unless he signs a new contract very soon, i'd cash in now. Although i'm not sure if Derek will sign any new contract, or indeed be offered one?
