How did he play today? Well enough to impress Sven?

Good to see the defence keeping a clean sheet today.

Sven wasn't at the game. I was there with a sports reporter today and UTD officially said it was a lot of balls.

Reported on BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/8666200.stm) as being a rumour that turned out to be false.

He's been at a few Wigan games recently, keeping tabs on their centre back. (No, not Caldwell)

Hopefully with them conceding 2 goals (twice) and now 7 goals (and counting) he won't be too impressed.

A rumour started By Bamba himself then, he was quoted as saying Sven had called him to say he was coming to watch.

If indeed that's his last game we will have problems replacing him.

The ACN came at a bad time, but frequently he's been outstanding.

Anyone on the radar as a replacement? Someone in the 'stokes-miller' callibre

Heard that there were scouts from England and France at the game today.

Bamba was solid throughout and it's no coincidence IMO that Hoggy looked much more assured

Hoggy needs a big strong centre half beside him. His best form was with Jones who won most things in the air. He is best covering the other centre half who is challenging in the air rather than doing that job himself. look at Miller and Mcleish this is how they worked.

I'm just waiting for Oscar Lomax's opinion on Bamba's performance.

Bamba was faultless today and looked like a man who knew he was in the shop window.

Dominant in the air, good on the deck and his decision making was spot on.

Complemented well by an on-form Hogg, although some people will refuse to believe that.

Tamika Mkandware from Leyton Orient. Was on the radar when Martin Ling did some scouting from us and now out of contract, looking foe another club, and importantly, an excellent young player.

Maybe Yogi told him this was happening to get the best out of thr big man.

Is Yogi capable of these type of mindgames?
