I'm fairly sure that we've had more corners than Falkirk and Killie.

Well done Hibs.

At least it shows we have high scoring games, unlike the Yams who like to kill every game they play in.

Don't think so. Everybody I have spoke to today (non hibs fans I should add :greengrin )is talking about one of the best games of football they have ever seen.

Impressive.

But true.

What does losing a 4 goal lead in the space of 25minutes say about a team as opposed to a team that comes back from 4 goals down in 25minutes?

One is schoolboy football and the other is a fantastic, never say die attitude.

If we had been 6-2 down and came back to draw I guarantee that folk on here would've said we were lucky and scraped a draw.

I would be interested to hear if those people would be saying the same things if their team let a 4 goal lead slip in the space of 25minutes?

It was an embarrassment and completely inexcusable.

But we didn't so the above means nothing.

Try justify it yourself anyway you want to. To capitulate like we did last night, lose a 4 goal advantage in 25minutes in what was our biggest game of the season says so much about the players and the management.

It was quite frankly an embarrassment.

Rubbish.

The laughing stock of British football come from the west side of Edinburgh.

A massive number of posts in here today talk about stuff that didn't happen but those ones suit the folk that are revelling in our position and what happened.

Can you only go down the hypothetical route sometimes?

The only person I see posting hypothetically is you. And what are all these posts of 'stuff' that didn't happen?

Motherwell's comeback last night ranks as one of the biggest in the history of British football.

The last 25minutes of the match from Hibs perspective was a complete abomination.

Fans are rightly furious with players and management alike.

To say people are revelling in it is nonsense.

Couple of things...
"If they had scored a 7th would Yogi still be in a job?"
"If we never had Riordan or Stokes we'd have been relegated"

BTW I agree it was ridiculous to lose a 6-2 lead but some folk are only looking at the negative.

It may well be a statement of the bleedin obvious but I don't think anyone would suggest we have a dearth of attacking options. The problems as indicated by the manner of the result against Motherwell are at the back.
If we had a solid, competent, consistent defence, this woeful run would never have gained momentum and so addressing the defensive frailties (we don't even have a recogised RB FFS) must be of paramount importance.

No point in scoring tons of goals if you concede just as many or more.
