There's only two parties that can win in my constituency: Liberal Democrat or Conservative.
Which one should I vote for and why?

a) Lib Dems
b) Because they're not the Tories.
Hope this helps.

I can tell you who I would vote for any why in your situation, but I wouldn't presume to tell you who to vote for.

If you've got to ask I wouldn't bother.

I'm just looking to hear the pros and cons for each one, also implications re. hung parliament. I haven't had the time to peer beneath the veneer so was hoping that some of you might have.

A hung parliament - no one really knows yet but you'll either get:
- A formal coalition between Labour and Lib Dems or Tories and Lib Dems. The policies will be a variety of whatever the two partners negotiate. Everything will be relatively stable until the parties fall out.
- A minority Tory or Labour government which will be relatively weak (depending on how far short of a majority it is), won't be able to put a lot of its manifesto promises into practice and will likely lead to another election within 18 months. There is chat that the market won't like it as a clear plan for the economy and deficit reduction won't necessarily be able to be put in place.
