I came across this website that I thought some people may find helpful/interesting. it bascially looks at MP's (and candidates) on the basis of their views on evidence-based policy making and related subjects. its not complete for candidates, but if you want to know your MPs record its pretty good.

I have just found out my local MP is a pro-life god-botherer who has supported homeopathy, yes, HOMEOPATHY!???:grr: in the NHS AND....AND... tried to stop the abolition of common law blasphemy.:grr:
**** me. I might have to vote lib - what the **** do we know about anything - dem!

The site confirms my impression that my current MP is a party hack without any opinion other than that handed out by the whips.
