Isn't McLeod a Sunsport columnist?

That might explain why. The Sun aren't half backing the Tories this time and we can expect loads of 'the Sun Won It' etc etc if all turns blue on Friday.

Has our present captain not embarrassed us enough recently, without one from the past feeling the need to get in on the act?

What the hell does Murdo McLeod know about politics, and why are his opinions printworthy??

Unbelievable.

Also, the reasons he gives?? - Sounds like he's been given a "Football themed political soundbites" book by Tory HQ and is just reading off that

"They've had their kick of the ball and are now out of puff"??!!

:bitchy:

'David Cameron has done a lot of unseen work in the engine room, and has plenty of grit and determination, much like myself Chick, and now he deserves a bigger stage, much like me when I went to Celtic'

**** off Murdo eh.

Alex Salmond is an ill informed yam - the slope is still there - just shows liar politicians and sound bite footballers don't mix.
.
I'm sure Cameron has come out with something equally stupid and with Brown being a Wretched Rovers fan I'd just say that confirms it.
.
Oh and when I wrote to Mark Lazerovich (sp) about the British Governments treatment of Zemmama I didn't get the courtesy of a reply. Someone told me he was a yam too.

My Tory candidate did himself no favours by revealing that he lives not in East Lothian but Solihull!!

Not that I'm voting for him anyway :greengrin

This is hilarious, all these years, if anyone suggested that Turdo Mcleod is a Janice Long, they got shot down in flames. How dare anyione slate our beloved Turdo, after all he was the main man in our 91 triumph over Dunfermline, now we find that the bold Turdo is a Tory and all the good bits are forgotten.

Anyway, i'm deffo not voting Conservative now. When they get "Celtic minded" people voting for them, then the party is definately over.

Cameron's probably one of those celebrity Chelsea fans - they were good enough for Mellor!

Correct.

Inter's Javier Zanetti helped fund the Zapatista guerillas apparently. Did a helluva job on Messi the other night too:cool2:

Think it was actually the club who forged links with the Zapatistas, by funding projects in Chiapas, this presumably instigated Zanetti. Was even a suggestion of an EZLN v Inter friendly.

"We believe in a better, unglobalised world enriched by the cultural differences and customs of all the people," Zanetti said.:agree:

I believe our Deeks is also a bit of a political thinker. He's often to be found down The Ferryboat scratching his chin reflecting how a Hobbesian approach to concepts of man against nature can be reconciled with modern 21st century neo-liberalism:agree:

Don't think murdo ever recovered to get the ball full in his face in the world cup. Come on this fool was daft enough to sign for us and be assistant to Alec miller. His judgement is not worth a ****.

But interesting how this Celtic minded individual is supporting the Conservative and Unionist candidate will go down well with the Sinn Fein sellick supporters club.

Most Sellick fans love talking about Irish independence but when it comes to Scotland they are quicker than the Huns in wrapping themselves in the red white and blue of the Union Flag.

I take it Murdo got all that treatment for (was a heart bypass?) in a private hospital? I wish him well with his recovery, and hope that it will give him a bit of time to reflect on which party introduced the NHS, and which party is more trustworthy with it.
