Just noticed that there are 2 Premiership games on ESPN back to back today, on account of the Bank Holiday!

Excellent background viewing whilst working from home

First up is Wigan vs Hull* followed by Blackburn vs Arsenal.

*ESPN were just discussing the plight of already relegated Hull - turns out they are poised to go into administration on account of having £40 million wage bill, with only £50 million turnover - the wheels are coming off the Premiership right now :agree:

Yeah - their chairman was talking the other day about how every goal their strikers have scored this season has cost them more than £900k - £7.5m spent on wages for their strikers this season so far! Sheer madness! Spending money on someone guaranteed to score goals and keep you up is one thing but the strikers they've got aren't anywhere near that level.
