That interview shows what a ****** Petrie has employed. Hughes has to go within the next few days, and Petrie should relieve himself from manager-appointing decisions in future.

If the squad stays the same and the manager stays the same, will we set the record for the earliest SPL relegation ever next season?!

Instead of waiting years for our current players to get 'better' why don't we just sign some instead in the summer :agree:

You can`t really blame him for trying to spin it a bit but to say that the existing squad is good enough is more evidence that the man is absolutely clueless.

Surely he must just be saying this for the squad's morale, which must be rock bottom anyway.

It's hardly likely to help saying they're all rubbish and I'm going to get rid of them of all - it didn't exactly help Mowbray did it?

I agree though that new faces are desperately required.

My main worry is not that Yogi doesn't know how to deal with the problem (thought that IS a worry) it's that he doesn't seem to acknowledge there IS a problem.

One of my mates mentioned this, we are relegation material without doubt. With Hughes in charge next season it will be a fight between Hibs and the dons for the drop?. Watch this space. :grr:

I'm not even going to click on that link. I can genuinely not think of a thing I want to do less right now than read ANOTHER Yogi interview promising us the world in the future, with all kind of nice soundbites and platitudes that mean absolutely ***** all.

Yogi may or may not be the right man for the job, but right now the tone of his media interviews contrasted with the reality out there on the pitch makes him come across as patronising and frankly - a bit of a plum IMO.
