This advert is currently appearing in Scottish newpapers.

Question is - if you are in need of a TV right now, would you be tempted to buy or would national pride prevent you from even considering this promotion?

Really good deal at Currys too for a wider range of TVs. Might buy a Toshiba and take a punt though!

This is a very god deal if you think about it we are in a very easy group and I see us reach the semi's at least so there's nothing to lose guys.

From the ad.

Do you think they're looking for another Diego moment to get England knocked out early?

Looking to buy a new tv, besides the england thing is it a good offer?
Who do you have to register it with to take up the offer. Would hate to see england win the world cup but if i can get a free tv out of it.

Because people are lazy and a number of them won't bother or will forget. That means they won't have to return funds to every customer who buys one of those TVs in that period.

There's always a ploy to save a company money in offers like this!
