the Huns were staying in Malmaison last night, I was in having a meal and over heard Walter Smith, David Murray and a couple of others.

they are not happy as Nacho Novo, Kris Boyd and Davie Weir are all leaving.

Boyd signed a pre-contract with Birmingham on Friday but McLeish allegedly told Murray that he had no idea about it until Boyd turned up last night and told Walter Smith.

Novo is signing for Boro and Weir is just giving up as he wants to go out at the top.

Smith was asking Mr Chairman (Murray) can I drop Mr Boyd for tomorrow and was told "only if we have won the title before kick off", "I don't want any chances, I want the title wrapped up and we have a meeting on Tuesday with the bank and it will go a long way to helping that meeting"

Not scored in 8 games or something? No doubt he'll put that to bed against us.

The detail in that overheard dinner conversation is remarkable.

Was it like like being in the Famous Five? :greengrin
