should hibs/them follow the old infirm and have a derby in say new york. I thought that if they held it preseason and used it to also promote the festival it would be a good wee trip. Have some fest acts on the pitch beforehand like yon steel band in the tony rougier days.

It would give a good excuse for a trip to NYC right enough :greengrin

mind you i'm not sure they have segregation on the continental flight from edi to jfk.

As an American and former resident of New York, I'm sorry to say that this wouldnt work. Celtic and Rangers have big enough fan bases in America to fill a stadium. Hibs and Hearts simply do not.

isnt there any smaller stadiums, both clubs could build it into their preseason plans.

Red Bull Park, the MLS stadium, seats 25,000 I think. But I don't think we would fill that either. If the club isn't going to make any money, why go?
