Hi guys,

We are through to the final of the Forth One competition to 'Win Your Wedding' to which there are two parts - fundrasing for 'Cash for Kids' and voting. The text below in bold details what the competition is all about and how you can help us!

One of the reasons we got through to the final is that I have a season ticket at Easter Road and Elaine has one at the PBS (derby days are fun in our house!:grr:) and the competition organisers thought this was good in terms of local interest etc.

We have contacted Hibs and Hearts who we are hopefull can help out, Hearts have donated a signed strip and I will hear tomorrow how Hibs are helping out!

This Sunday we are going to be at Tesco Home Plus at Fort Kinnaird where Elaine will be bathing in jelly and we will also have a bouncy castle and a couple of other fun events set up for the kids! We have other events coming up which we will post details of in the links below, it is a competition though so we do not want to show our cards too early!

Any questions please get back in touch, my number is at the bottom of the email. We're going to stick this on Kickback aswell to try and get support! If you have any bright ideas how to raise money out of the Hibs-Hearts thing it would be appreciated, I've approached the Evening News to try and get in there!

It would be great if you could all vote for us - Couple 3. Please pass this on to all your friends aswell, any help is really appreciated!

Also, if you would like to sponsor us for the jelly baths or fancy dress tandem ride give me a shout!

Thanks, we really apprecaite your help.
Mark

I've voted Mark but I'm not sure it's a good idea to show your mobile numbers. Perhaps better if you ask folk on both sites to PM you with any ideas etc?

Anyway, good luck

Vote cast! You're a brave man, taking on all of this :greengrin Good luck

Oh, how about asking for a mention at half-time at the derby? For once it'll be something that appeals to both fans!

Thanks guys, votes are appreciated!

I'm in touch with Elaine Morrison (press and communications) at the moment and she is trying to get a few things sorted for me so fingers crossed!

I was thinking along the lines of sponsorship to endure a match at the opposing ground, not sure if we could get both clubs behind it though with such a short timescale.

Nae offence but marrying a yam :wtf:Means she'll probably have a yam family as well and yam friends :bitchy:

Mibbe just me but how the hell does that ever happen

I would be :jamboak:

Advice to all you single blokes, do what I did, find a woman who doesn't like football at all. She won't want to come to ER with you and spoil your fun and then she has all of Saturday to do the housework and shopping. Then when you have a family she'll then be free to watch the bairns till they are old enough to get a ST  :smokin

I once managed to convince a jambo that I was Michael Stewart and got a free pint out of it! Having ginger hair, it's amazing how easy it is to convince people you are someone else who has ginger hair!

I tried to vote for you but it kept telling me to enter the Validation Code which I did (case sensitively and all) but kept getting then endlessly the same message to enter the Validation Code. I gave up. Sorry.

Can't see the validation code or videos at work (probably the firewall) will try when I get home.

I'm with 65bd, marry someone who dosen't give a toss about football (can be a bit annoying when it's on the telly and she wants a "conversation"). To be fair, she did come along to the 2007 cup final and joined in the singing.
