Sorry if it's been posted already but I am sad to let people know of the passing away of Alan Munro. Alan was well known in the Leith / Abbeyhill area and was as good Hibee as you will ever meet. He lost his battle on sunday evening at 10 pm in the company of those who loved him most, my thoughts go with his family at this sad time. The arrangements for Al's funeral are as follows. Saturday 11AM at seafield crematorium. RIP. Franny.

Allan battled his illness with amazing courage and dignity for two years - I don't think there's many who could say they ever heard him complain about the cruel blow dealt to him.

My thoughts are with Gill, his beautiful wife of only two years, his Mum and Dad, and all his pals, who I know are devastated at this time.

RIP Allan

Sad to hear of Alan's passing, we usually crossed paths at away games or 'back in the Artie' of an evening for a wee post-match chat.

Thanks to Franny for his post, as I was able to call my parents in Australia who have been good friends with Rab and Pat for many moons. They also extend their thoughts to all the family at this sad time.

RIP Alan
