point im trying to make is i was there on wed night and i thought pitch never looked that bad...

Pitch was a lot better today than it was on Wednesday night imo.

I thought the pitch was looking better than since before the large (1st) snowfall. Certainly not good but significantly better and the ball wasn't so tricky to control and bobbling everything.
