New Power League (Sighthill) Pitches

Hey guys,

Has any of you played at the redeveloped power league pitches at sighthill??

Usually play at the world of football but the guy cant get it booked so hes thinking of booking a power league pitch.


I always hated playin on the power league pitches!! Seeing as im a goalkeeper was never much fun.

All pitches have been done, they are IMO slightly better than the WOF, flatter and newer. Still hate those rubber chips!!

It's better than world of now mate. 5g surface.

World of Football is very worn down, joke of a surface.

Add to that the fact that Sighthill is now 5g, superb.

Much better at Powerleague for diving on as a GK.....or a cheating outfield player. :devil:

The surface at the powerleague at Portie is much better than WoF. I play at WoF on a Monday and the Powerleague on a Tuesday.

Played on them last night! Very good pitches. Had a good game n it was great being able to dive at the power leagues for a change lol

Was at Portobello today - manager told us they cost £15000 a pitch!


Much better than the old sand covered concrete they used to have :greengrin
