Was at the game today and i thought that Stokes shot was going wide before it took the deflection that put it in the back of the net, so Stokes credited with goal, or does it go down as an OG. Thoughts from people who were at the game and no the people who listened to it on the radio.:greengrin :faf:

On the highlights it looks like it was going wide until it took the deflection :agree:

I have just seen it and it should be an OG :agree: as we had £2.50 on an anytime OG @ 8/1 :grr::grr:

My immediate reaction at the game was that it was an OG.

was going as wide as a pair of Nade's boxers. What the heck was he doing at the third goal sticking his gloved paw up to the cross..:bitchy:

Aye it defo hit a falkirk player on the way into the net, but it was on target anyway, so WTF he claims it cos it was a decent shot on target.

It was a fantastic piece of skill by Stokes, to wrong foot the goalkeeper.

Stokes cleverly tricked everyone by shooting wide in the knowledge that the Falkirk defender wouldn't know that and would make a lunge at the ball.

Own goal may be the technical answer, but I put it down to cunning and an extraordinary eye for an opportunity.

Definite own goal. But I'm sure Stokes will be claiming it. I think the ball would have ended up by the corner flag if not for the deflection lol
