Then delete most of the witty replies, and keep it closed?

4 hours to go, and if I was going to the match today I'd be leaving now.

Before the uberfans get on about not attending games, I've better things to do, like watch paint dry

Does Calgary have to start a new thread?

I'm not going to risk starting it :greengrin

The last match update thread started about 20 hours before kick off got to post 112 before the match actually started. Anyone logging on would have had to wade their way through music videos to get to it.

It's a match update thread!

So is it open again? or does a new "match update" thread need to be started by someone brave enough? not going to be me

I think HH said he'd be opening it closer to the game. There are plenty other threads discussing the weather, team, formation, etc

Let's keep the match update thread for match updates :cool2:

Surely match update threads need pre-match-updates entertainment??

And, Pitlochry, see when you're done with the fence... my car needs washed.

F off  so does mine, but it's not going to happen, it always rains when I was the car, and I need the paint to dry :greengrin

:agree: At least you tend to know what kind of result you'll get at the end of it.

Serious note now. A good result today please Hibs. :notworthy:

If someone opens a 4-4-2 against 4-3-3 thread, can you bring your fence back so that some posters can sit on it?:lips seal

Hope you're painting your fence with the "Riordan brand". Gives you a silky finish all the time. Be careful not to use the "Nish" paint. I did once. Got up the ladder to paint the ceiling and the pot fell off. :grr:

Anyway :notworthy:

I like the wee tester pots.... brand names Rankin, Zouma, Lewie.

Not sure on the Miller brand; sometimes there's just nothing in the tin.

Think you might need one of those stick things to prise it open again.

I think it's time for a change anyway, CG hasn't got his tactics right recently, it's always the same rubbish that appears on the teamsheet in his thread and opening the thread so early has pushed me over the edge.

I know he's done it for us before and there were many who supported his appointment as match update manager but it's time for CG to walk while he still has some dignity.

:greengrin

C'mon the Hibs!
