Was chatting to a Jambo acqaintance in pub tonight who was at a meet the fans forum at tynie,

He said that the Liths confirmed they have ditched plans for hotel etc and are looking to build new stand with Corporate facilities for £15m.

They will not start build until they are "breaking even" and they must break even by 2012.

Unfortunately he did not know what they meant by break even- if that meant debt free or not making losses.

He also mentioned a new debt for equity deal in the summer

Anyone else admit to knowing a Jambo at the meeting or have any further feedback?

Vlad will lend them it.

In other words, the original planning application - the one that cost over £1m and supposedly filled several large cardboard boxes - is junk.

Hearts are back to square one.

Hearts don't pay interest to his bank. They just add it on to the debt.

It'll be interesting to see if the Council keep the school site etc. until HoMoFC are in a position to buy it (they have'nt paid anything for it to date) or if they'll now be open to other offers.

I think they were evaluated on ability to pay in the same vein as a provvy loan, and with that in mind, the cooncil noted their request for the building but in fact decided their request for a pre-owned polis box from the 80's was more befitting them...I believe they were looking to use it for selling season tickets after they've fully renovated it :greengrin
