I think this underlines how badly we played and how well hearts did.

That was painful to watch. Hibs were second to every ball. Defenders stood off their man and allowed so much time and space to those in maroon shirts it was schoolboy error stuff. Bamba was pathetic, slow, lead-footed, jumping and heading fresh air. There was no urgency or collective belief.:bitchy: The only consolation being we did not suffer a heavy loss and Riordan continued to put one past them.

I found two things a bit concerning about that interview, firstly Hughes saying after Hearts went 2-0 up scoring 3 to win "that's too much of an uphill task". Yes, it's not going to be easy, but that doesn't mean you give up. It sounded as if they'd already conceded the game so didn't bother to fight for it. I think that's a shocking attitude.

Secondly, "I can't keep changing diapers all the time, the onus is on them". That is quite obviously a big criticism of the players, which I am not sure he should be doing in the media like that. To be honest, does it really help?

I just made myself watch that. All 5 minutes of it. I'm now going to book myself in for an appointment concerning my love of self abuse.

Watching that was making me cringe. You just wanted to scream at the team "grow some ****ing baws!".
