What do they do?
First twenty minutes, they had loads of possession yet they produced SFA.
No killer pass to the forward (single not plural).
No attempts to make runs into the box
No shots on goal
No tackles, no grit, no determination
Nothing. Produce nothing, prevent nothing.
I have said many times that a strong midfield is required to take pressure of the defence and to give a firm base for the attack-minded players. Ours don't. We could have two, three, four or any number you want (within reason) and our crop will still produce SFA.
I am totally frustrated having a team of 'mavericks'. I would rather have something that resembles a football team.
