For those on here who prefer proper racing on 2 wheels (as opposed to the bore that is F1 ), in a little over 3 weeks, the MotoGP season starts!

Who do you fancy to win the title? Valentino Rossi has been in good form in pre season testing, consistantly beating the rest, however, when the lights go out!!!

Main contenders:

Rossi -now the old man of MotoGP, he still has it and is argualby the best ever, so I still have him as favourite for the title.
Lorenzo - Rossi's team mate showed his class last season, but was normally out gunned by Rossi when they went head to head last season. Has been injured this pre season. Should make the final test.
Stoner - Missed 3 races last season and dropped away, but showed his skill in the last few races. The only man who can consistantly ride the Ducati well.
Pedrosa - Dani is in a desparate need of a good campaign, otherwise he may lose his factory ride.

I reckon it'll be close this year, with a potential 3 world champions going into the last 3 races!

Heres hoping for a excellent 2010 season!

At least we know after tonight it's going to be unpredictable  and 100 times more exciting than F1

Great race for starters but not keen on floodlit tracks in the middle of the desert.

Disaster in free practice for The Doctor (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/motorbikes/8723843.stm) today. Compound fracture in the leg from a massive highside http://www.forum.exscn.net/images/smilies/smiley222.gif Footage in video about 3:50.

Very disappointing, was shaping up to be a great battle with Lorenzo as well.

Spoilt the season, IMO.
I was looking forward to them fighting it out.

Nightmare for Rossi... The sport is definately the loser here.

Lorenzo for the championship now, unless Stoner gets his finger out!! This will give us a taste of life without Rossi, however, whoever wins it, will have won it 'with Rossi out' so some will detract from it!

I hope Lorenzo goes on now and gets it!!!
