My brother (purehibee) and myself are coming over from the isle of man for the derby, as it's 10 years since we lived there we have no idea which pub to go to before, any help would be great.

:thumbsup:WELCOME

If you want into the roseburn you'll need to be there early or it will fill and no one will get in.

Best bet is to head to the Murrayfield, the usual people who q for the roseburn are the young over keen type:tin hat: who although create a good atmosphere, the real fun is to be had at the murrayfield.

its the new Roseburn for derby days! :greengrin

roseburn is too popular with jakeys and part timers these days - the pros are going.......elsewhere

Last game I was at was the Bolton friendly and the atmosphere in the pub was class, so where ever the best atmosphere is I'd like to be there.

I like bevvying outside the Roseburn. Busy, a good sing-song and i've done it pre-Derby since I was 15. Plus, you get to abuse the Gorgie dregs if they dare to drag themselves past :cool2:

Yup - it may take a wee bit longer to get going than at the Roseburn, and there's a - relative - lack of THAT song on display (which may or may not be a plus point for some......... :worms::hide: ) but the atomosphere is still cracking by about 10-10.30 :agree::agree:

I was down there last time about half 8, fairly healthy queue by then but got in ok. Don't leave it much later than that though.
